They're a trio of silly Silver Age stile supervillains.
Squid Man- Eugene Cheng is a nerdy marine biologist who gets caught in an accident that fuses squid DNA to his own on the molecular level, allowing him to communicate and control them with his mind.
Using these new powers, he decides to take revenge on the world that mocked him and his love of cephalopods!
Ms Vespee. - Wealthy socialist by day, bee-loving eco-terrorist by night! She commands bees to attack sugar cane fields, trying to make honey the only sweetner used by humans.
Grapevine - kinda like blaxploitation Poison Ivy, I haven't really thought of a backstory for her yet.

This guy's name is Visio.
He lives in a world seperate from humans, along with other technological beings, because humans eventually became paranoid when smart devices ended up being too self-aware. An old man who had lived alone a fair amount of his life found them near his little house, and turned many of the smart devices into robots. Several decades later, the elderly man died, and very few of the current, more advanced robots remember who he was.
Visio finds the little girl, Laura, while walking around the city very early in the morning. He has no idea what a human is, and believes she's a very advanced form of android when he finds her- until it is later proven she isn't after screaming when dipping her feet into a hot oil bath, and being unable to eat food for robots. Slowly but surely, he learns what a human is, and less slowly but surely, he becomes a fatherly character to Laura, and ends up loving her like she was his own daughter.

I've got one idea for a superhero I've been working on based off of this pic. it's not mine and was drawn by sketchmasterskillz.
his cape name is blue sky. he has the usual superman clone backstory, planet got killed, scientist father sent only son to distant planet, raised by friendly earthlings.
the twist being that he looks more a bird that learned to walk like a man then he does a human. so he had to live confined to his adoptive family's farm for fear of being taken from them. his mother and father did their best to educate him and prepare him for the day mankind would find him.
he idolizes superman, who's a fictional character in the story, and wants to become a superhero like him. he has that chance as 3 years before he came to earth, something called the rainbow event happened giving thousands of people superpowers.
blue sky's powers is total control over air, which he uses to fly, punch harder and when he needs to get serious, rip the air out of someone's lungs to knock them out.

Been having trouble trying to figure out how to give her thumbs so she could actually use weapons without it looking weird, but I end up with the thumb looking tacked on and weird.
