I've been looking at Nora's hammer, and I can't really find anything that works against the user, even in RWBY physics.
Obviously the proportions are exaggerated and I wonder what the grenade launcher going off inside the hammer to propel it would actually do to the hammer and the human body, but taking into account RWBY physics I guess these factors don't effect Nora.
As for the grenade launcher itself, I don't know shit about firearms.
