I really reject this. The idea that cultural behaviors are inherently tied to a race or set of genes is inherently Racist. It presupposes that they are more than just different behaviors layered on top of a basic, not-unique human template, but that they specifically belong to people of a certain descent. Culture is not racial, culture is learned and emulated from the people around you. I think Danny's story might even be a great place to speak to that.

Well, Shang-Chi was apart of Marvel tax credit to get the MCU up and running. Both Shang and Danny have had film scripts written, that were both put on the shelf. The only reason why Danny's getting anything first is because of his solid relationship with Luke. He's also most tied in with NYC street-level crowd, while Shang is a spy that has ties to British M13. I hoped that Shang would get a movie, I feel he's more suited to it that Danny.
