Simpsons had some great episodes, but also a lot of just "okay" and even average ones at its absolute best. I wish everyone didn't try to act like certain seasons are "officially" perfect straight through because there's probably be a wider range of different opinions about its quality progression otherwise.
2-4 are probably the strongest (2 might be the best), 5-6 are good, 1 is one of the more interesting to watch because you can see how the series developed but is hit or miss quality wise. 7 on started doing way too much shit that annoyed me but it's not like it just went from good to shit between seasons either. at a certain point it got way too dumb but damned if I can pinpoint exactly when.
I don't know if I'm just getting bitter about it due to seeing so much online discussion re: when it was best or if simpsons itself has always been ridiculously overrated.
Marvel's Figment? It's scientifically impossible for anyone to not in some way or form like this comic.
