Well It's not like we expected her to redraw the entire fucking series for book 1. We kind of assume that while some of the costs are going to the products, that of course the people pocket some of that as well.

She did say she was doing that though, because the artstyle and character designs had moved on a lot from the starting chapters and Ava's Demon isn't long enough to allow a slow evolution, like other comics do.
Some of the edits are pretty bad though. Either the original emotion is lost or the edited area is really sketchy and feels like she forgot to return and finish it. Almost makes me hope for a second sweep in future.

Yeah but it just threw off all of these time frames she set up in the original kickstarter, I figured it was just some simple things, but it was a year+ long ordeal.
