The funny thing is TTG is the same kind of show the original PPG was, lol.
Honestly TTG works because at it's core its a voice actor driven show. Never mind the silly plots or the like, the real appeal is reuniting a cast that had a lot of chemistry with each other and letting them go wild with it. Generally you find that a lot of voice actors don't care about the drama/serious moments fans obsess over. TT fans might find TT go an affront to the old cartoon, but ultimately you get the feeling the voice actors really wanted to be there and everyone is having fun with it.
I don't get that from the PPG reboot. It just seems like something no one asked for.
