I read saga, but more as a guilty pleasure thing rather than actually finding it that good. It's tumblr: the comic. But I keep reading for prince IV and ghüs, the only good characters.

It's written like an indie movie. More scenes of people talking and characters with different ages, sexuality, and situations not always the bog standard. Hence variety = tumblr.

You ever see that "how to draw a character: tumblr style" with the short fat brown bulldyke? You probably have. That's what half the characters look like. It's the whole "ebin punk xD screw you dad I'm not gonna conform (even though we all look the same)" tumblr shit look, I'm sure you can visualize what I'm saying here. There was this one scene the narrator talks about how "war is always hardest on women, even when they aren't doing the fighting" Felt pretty hamfisted
Also the story blames the shit out of Marko forknocking groceries or something out of Alana's hands because she'd been doing drugs, and treats him like a horrible wifebeater for it.Like, it makes sense for Marko to feel that way about himself because of his upbringing, but everybody else just lets him think he's Hitler.
Little aspects like that and the fact the story runs more on feeling than logic, I think, are what make people cry tumblr. Plus at its core it's about the struggles of raising children, which not everybody cares about/can relate to.

These women seem to be the ones im attracted too. So full of life and steam that sometime they dont even realize theyre acting like an insane person. Its rough. Point is, she is a perfectly believable character, love hrr or hate herjust fuck her if you meet cause its a wild ride
