I never understood why Cyclops would help make a perfect mutant. He is a pretty average alpha level mutant, in the Xtintion team in which he was leader, all the other members were surely or arguably more powerful than him (Magneto, Namor, Danger, Colossus, Storm, Magik, Emma Frost)
