Seriously though, why haven't these two been a power couple from the very beginning of the series? Married superhero duos like Green Arrow/Black Canary and Aquaman/Mera always make both characters way cooler and more interesting. It allows for genuinely good romance stories that don't feel tedious or at odds with the superheroics of the world they live in, which wiuld he perfect for a show like this.

They've really lost the core dynamic of Oliver as an interesting character. Seeing him grow and develop more into comics Ollie was so fun. Even at the start of seaaon 4 it seemed like they were attempting to introduce his more humorous side. Oliver's relationship with Felicity is now the crux of his character and neither him or Green Arrow really seem to have an identity that exists outside of his relationship with the supporting cast. Even Flash, for all its flaws, is really enjoyable still because the writers give Grant Gustin so much material to work with regarding Barry's desire to go faster. It's a real waste of Amell.

I have to give it to them, I was not a fan ofLaurelfor a long time and in the last few seasons I've really grown to like her character. Drop lots of hints for all of them to be the traitor and then have an emotional climactic final fight where he confronts who it is and has to kill them.
