I've finally caught up with this show. I thought this show was going to be "Tumblr the animated series" but I'm enjoying it so far. Whenever there's a franchise I'm interested in, I usually have an idea to improve it, but I've got nothing. Either my imagination has finally broke or the show is that good. The only idea I have so far is Steven fusing with Lion, but I'm okay with Stevonnie being Stevens go to super form.

She and her coworkers are given minimal direction, like "Do one of Snow White" or "Do one with text on it" and they whip out a couple designs. From what we've got so far, it seems Summer is going to be massive for Steven Universe.
I'm hoping they'll air all 26 episodes during the 3 months, however they schedule them during this period.
I'm also hoping that the rerun schedule during that period would be much more frequent than other shows to keep the SU momentum going through the summer.
Imagine if they did specific marathons with this, like all Pearl focused, Amethyst focused and maybe even Peridot redemption focused marathons.

For Pearl, though, a lot of her self worth and esteem are based around Rose's identity. She's coming into her own more and more, but if she finds out that Pearls were built to love and depend on their master that calls into question a lot of things she's been struggling with.
Of course, the conclusion she'll reach is the one you described, that those memories and experiences have meaning. That said, it'll be after some soul searching on her part. It's a pretty relatable situation to be in and one that I think will strengthen Pearl all the more.
