ITT: The Simpsons writers have lost their minds and given YOU the chance to set the direction of the next season. The catches are:

-This whole season has to be Treehouse of Horror-esque, or at worst, shitty creepypasta-esque. A whole fucking horrific season that's "canon". So if you kill off Flanders, he either has to stay dead or you have to come up with a way to bring him back, and everyone reacts accordingly.
-The first episode of the season has to be an adaptation of Dead Bart.
-Bart has to come back to life (or partially back to life) before the end of the season, but you can keep him dead for some episodes. Don't worry, the next season will still follow up on your gory changes even if you won't be working on it.
-Remember a season is 22 episodes so you've got to come up with 22 plot ideas.

How fucked up can you make the season?

I couldn't handle this responsibility. What could I possibly make that hasn't already been on Family Guy, South Park, or some Newgrounds parody?
>>
>Start off the season with Bart dying.
>In the wake, weird shit starts happening in Springfield.
>People start disappearing, only to reappear days later.
>Although they seem different, not entirely human.
>Eventually we find out the entire thing is this Truman Show/Cabin in the Woods/Dark City deal.
>Springfield has been stuck in this perpetual cycle, with weary citizens being replaced with clones or whatever.
>The remaining family members get out of Springfield, only to discover massive sets for every place they've gone in recent years.
>Find Bart, who had been 'killed off' because of ratings.
>Entire town gets free, reestablishes Springfield.

>Next season begins like nothing ever happened.
>Retconned everything past a certain point.
>Let them grow up in a 90s setting for the rest of the series.

Full of holes, but about as cohesive as some of the official shit put out.

I hand it over to Seth MacFarlane, that should be enough horror for you.
>>

Just mash them together and pretend you're homaging those shows
>>
hook up every tv set to pour out hyperrealistic blood at the end of every episode

Everyone has an aneurysm and drops dead at the same time. Then the town is nuked. Then a meteor hits the Earth and wipes out all life. Then the galaxy is swallowed by a black hole. Then the universe collapses in on itself. The credits are just a black screen with "Fuck you" written in white that last for the remaining 20 minutes. Every subsequent episode episode in the season is just that "Fuck you" screen except for the last five minutes of the last episode which is footage of the writing staff being executed by ISIS
>>
In the season premiere, Homer accidentally kills Bart in a non-comedic way due entirely to his own idiocy, and Marge finally takes the hint and leaves his dumb, murderous ass.

All the remaining episodes in the season are about each Simpson dealing with this in their own way and attempting to move on with their lives. Maybe Homer is haunted by the reappearance of Bart or some shit and wishes everything would go back to normal, but it's all just a creation of his mind because in his grief he's just going fuckin' crazy.
>>
the show starts with the death of Bart Simpson. But he isn't dead, just waiting in limbo before he comes back. Then I go Hypercrisis but with western animation.

I hated the Simpsons before it was cool to hate it, so I'll just have every episode be 30 minutes of mayo and hope it doesn't become a success.
>>
Make every 30 minute episode of the season play out in real time. Everything happens right at the end of the last episode, and then right into the next. Nobody has time to shower, eat, sleep, or do anything but be in the next episode where they get dumped into the plot. By the fourth episode, they're starting to get frayed around the edges as insane shit keeps happening and they start. By the sixth episode, they fail to resolve the central crisis of the episode, and the ramifications start mounting up as one episode's unresolved tension leads right into the next. Eventually, side characters can't handle it any more and start killing themselves. When the central cast decides to do it as well, they're stopped by other characters who tell them the show must go on and that there must be a Simpsons before they, themselves, commit suicide to escape the perpetual Hell only to be replaced with newer, hipper more supporting characters.
>>
>>81290961
Just let it die, Groening. Good writers don't do it for free.
>>
Throw a curve ball and let this dude make all the episodes.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=rTfa-9aCTYg

This will either kill Simpsons and making it have a weird cult following OR only strength the beast.
>>

This is unbelievable, I know people will say "not for family guy" but.. yea, for anything in existence this is unbelievable.

Where did humanity go wrong.

>Nobody has time to shower, eat, sleep, or do anything but be in the next episode
>implying you wouldn't make multiple Marge Simpson shower scenes
>>
I hire Toshiki Inoue on to write all of the episodes.
>>
>>81295245
I hire Junji Ito to write all of the episodes
>>
>>81295504
Would Junji Ito kill Bart by having him fall into a river or have Homer betray his family because of misunderstandings?
>>
>>81295525
Possibly. Either way it would result in a lot of body horror and madness.
>>
>>81295245
>Bart falls into a river and dies
>>
>>81290961
Doesn't Dead Bort have some dumb shit where it turns out that Matt Groening predicted the apocalypse?
>>
>>81290961
I have it be all 3-4 shorters and have each episode done by a different studio for a different style each episode.

Every studio will be Japanese so it will be made for Sakuga fans.

Bart's death will be done by Shaft and it will be only for 1 episode/short as it will all be a dream.

Once they arrive, the Simpsons discover their flight has been cancelled, prompting Homer to end the season with one last D'oh.

No status quo is changed for next season.

Instead of Marge slipping and falling she should isntead become awakened, make her realize she's on an animated show, then have her start killing her fellow co-stars, replace Martin doing the school shooting with her,
>>
Twenty-two episodes? That's quite a bit. Gimme some time and I'll come up with something.

Every episode is now written by student writers in art programs. No limits, except just keep it PG rated or cleaner.

Yeah I think Bart's been shit on enough by the actual writers.

After Bart dies due to incompetence from Homer that would even be surprising for him, the Simpsons family start questioning Homer's sanity. They try to find out what made Homer so stupid only to realize that they themselves and everyone have been acting incredibly strange in recent years (shout out the flanderization of everyone). Once they find this out, the Simpsons family race against time to find out what is going on in Springfield (especially with how everyone is creepily acting even more insane since Bart has died). Right before they find this out though, supernatural, unseen beings essentially press the reset button on Springfield and the town returns to its status quo which means no one suspects anything is wrong with Springfield.

THOH XXVIII

Love In the Time of Polyester: The Simpsons use Professor Frink's time machine to travel back to the 70s for some reason. Lots of period music and bad Star Wars jokes ensue.

The Dark Night Rises: Terrorists knock out the power grid with an EMP attack and zombies rise from the dead and attack Springfield for some reason. Homer has to defeat them with the help of random celebrity guest stars.

Blunder Woman: Bart and Lisa run into a washed-up alcoholic former female superhero and have to help her get back on her feet and defeat crime.

Since the whole thing is supposed to be Treehouse of Horror esque or Shitty Creepypasta esque, it starts out with an adaptaton of Dead Bart, the famous lost epsode creepypasta.
>>
Married to the Mob-scow: Homer borrows money from the Russian Mafia to buy Marge a replacement engagement ring after he loses it in a bar bet. The Simpsons have to travel to Russia to pay up.

The Bart of the Deal: Isabella (from The Kid Is Alright) returns and becomes a Donald Trump campaign adviser. Lisa meanwhile becomes a Bernie Sanders campaign adviser in revenge. Bart thinks that politics are just gay and sabotages the voting machines in Springfield so that both Trump and Sanders lose the election and it goes to Rand Paul instead. Once elected, Rand abolishes all consumer protection laws, reinstates the gold standard, and pulls US troops out of everywhere. China, ISIS, North Korea, and Iran invade the rest of the world and enslave everyone. Meanwhile, Americans are enjoying their libertarian paradise with dirt roads, cars with no seat belts, and food with contaminants in it. The end.

Yurp vs Murka: A European family moves in next door to the Simpsons. Both families have a hard time adjusting to each other's cultural quirks. Guest starring Cee-Lo and Ariana Grande for some reason.

Master of D'ohpets: Bart wants to become a heavy metal star when he grows up but someone reminds him this isn't the 80s anymore. He gets depressed and becomes addicted to methadone. Guest starring Justin Bieber.

Allah Snackbar: A bunch of refugees move into Springfield. Lisa welcomes them to town because they're not white. Ned Flanders and Reverend Lovejoy get pissed when they build a mosque next to the First Church of Springfield. Eventually Lisa gets concerned when she notices that Ahmeds don't believe in women's lib and actually treat women like chattel. She hatches a plan to get rid of them. This involves putting up a huge billboard showing that Serbian kebab remover meme (pictured). As soon as they see this, all of the Mudslimes panic and accidentally set off the suicide belts under their clothes. They all die. The end.
