The single colored cowl+neckpiece is pretty dodgy, but in the movie it looks alright (all the uproar was becasue of behind the scenes pictures in a fucking action scene).

Avengers one looks like tight PJs.
Winter Soldier looks very tactical/practical, First Avenger looks a lot like something a real soldier would wear, and Civil War is pretty much straight up Winter Soldier with more color to look closer to iconic costume.
Rating them:
1 - God tier - Civil War
2 - Superb tier - Winter Soldier (suffering from minor "X-Men wear black" syndrome)
3 - First Avenger final- really sells that WW2 look.
4 - First Avenger field clothes - very WW2, nice as transitional costume
5 - First Avenger parade costume - nice as an injoke
6 - Avengers - nice costume to be shown and then replaced by a real costume as a throwback to the parade costume injoke from First Avenger. ... What do you mean by "this is the only costume he has in this movie"? You can't be serious?
