I don't know what happened but overnight I started hating everything in south park from the annoying characters, the annoying voices, to the shit artstyle, to the writing, and I watched the show for years
I don't even know what happened, I finished season 19 and now I can't watch any re-run anymore because the characters just piss me off, they're all douchebags with annoying voices
If I had to pick the absolute worst character it would be Kyle followed by Cartman, the only character that isn't complete shit is Butters

Happened to me at the manatee episode. The trucker's line about 'Well at least they aren't all preachy and up their own ass' was just so spot on it ruined it for me forever after. The same thing happened to me with the MadTV sketch of House. I laughed my ass off at the sketch, but couldn't unsee it when I tried to watch the show again. Although in both cases I was more of a casual fan.

I feel like a lot of characters lost the attributes that made people like them in the first place. Mr Garrison stopped being funny and started being annoying after his sex change. I really don't get why people like Randy as he seems to turn more and more into Peter Griffin every episode. The boys stopped doing kid things and started being smarter than the adults who are now all incredibly stupid. The boys were barely in the last season. Most importantly South Park stopped being a small mountain town where weird things happened.
