I read the previous Infinite Comic volume, and I try to construct a synopsis:

>its head was Cassandra Nova
>While she introduces the X-Men to her program which involves having a Westchester without mutant violence, she telepathically "kills" Professor Charles Xavier; then she revealed herself as another telepathic host for the Shadow King
>Nova subjected all but Jubilee to the Mind Field, in which only Wolverine, Rogue, and Gambit passed
>Beast, and Storm were banished to the Rej-X, where was found by Jubilee
>Meanwhile, the OG X-Force found Charles unconscious
>Jean Grey, while in the Mind Field, unleashed Phoenix while trying to free herself and Cyclops
>Psylocke traced the psychic attack on Charles to Nova; X-Force decided to go to Clearwater
>Jean and Cyke were eventually rejected; Nova revealed her true intentions and planned to kill Baron Kelly via the X-Sentinel
>Nova dispatched the X-Sentinel to Westechester's museum, where Baron Kelly was; she introduced the "New X-Men" (Wolverine, Gambit, and Rogue), and programmed them to only save civilians

Christopher Priest quit Marvel because they only wanted him to write black books, and the last straw was when they canceled his Captain America and Falcon ongoing and offered him a Falcon solo as compensation back in the mid 00s. all of the heights look messed up to me. beast isn't supposed to be that much shorter than wolverine. in fact he's canonically much taller than him.
really disappointed that this doesn't look nearly as good as the mini. the art is nowhere near as good.
with the mini, the concept of creating a '92 x men universe was cool, but the story was what really sold it (for me at least). it was engaging and interesting. this is just the school and trying to figure out how many characters and references they can cram into each panel.I feel obligated to state here that I hope Marvel collects/reprints Gen X in its entirety if this turns out to be popular/successful
