Maybe Hank wouldn't be able to think of a way out of a it, but what's even more unbelievable is that Peggy would. But the episode is from season 6, which Mike Judge and Greg Daniels have condemned, so it kind of follows.

It's definitely a good episode, but when you compare it to a lot of the more low-key episodes of the show (primarily in 4,7 and 8 but also 2 3 and 5), the tone and humor are just a lot different, less subtle (which isn't necessarily better or worse). A Firefighter We Will Go is just loaded with gags that you might not see in many other episodes. Don't get me wrong- it still feels KOTH-like (unlike the last few seasons of the show and season 6 to a slightly lesser degree although for different reasons), but it's just a much "zanier" episode, which is probably why it's a fan-favorite, because it's more memorable to even people who don't watch it as religiously as some of the more die-hard fans.
