How would a Christopher Reeve Superman vs Adam West Batman movie turn out. How would a Nolanverse Batman vs Superman from Superman Returns movie turn out
>>81227351
That's not Reeve
>>81227351
>How would a Christopher Reeve Superman vs Adam West Batman movie turn out.
Fun diversion, but I think that Reeve would be wasted there. You could have made a seriously good Reeve Superman vs Keaton Batman movie, I think, because they're two much more different characters. Adam West Batman is, though fun, a pretty generic hero character.
>How would a Nolanverse Batman vs Superman from Superman Returns movie turn out
It could work, but only if the Nolanverse took a wildly different direction after Beginsand Returns was good
Realistically speaking, it would never be a versus movie
>>81227351
It would have to be Reeve/Keaton to work.
West would be busy with Cain. And it would be awesome.
>>81227351
>How would a Christopher Reeve Superman vs Adam West Batman movie turn out.
Fun as hell. There wouldn't be a fight. They'd team up immediately and go fight crime and be bros.
>How would a Nolanverse Batman vs Superman from Superman Returns movie turn out
Like shit.
>>81227421
Well, it might, but it'd be more Silver Age superdickery where it turns out that one or both of them is mind controlled or a villain in disguise or otherwise some kind of big misunderstanding.
>>81227596
This, you could never have actual tension between those versions of the characters, Reeves is too purely good and West is too silly.
>>81227351
That's George Reeves, you fucking casual
Superman would've killed himself but Batman would think it was suspicious and track down his murderer and then have a disco dance off.
>>81227351
There's a simple answer for that.

>I need your help. Lex Luthor has kidnapped my mother, and will end her life if I don't fight you.
>I know old chum. After untangling one of Riddler's contemptible conundrums I discovered Luthor's dastardly plot and dispatched Robin and Batgirl to rescue her. But, we need to buy them time. We must engage in a daring display of destruction for the perverse pleasure of that poisonous purveyor.
>I don't want to hurt you Bruce.
>Don't worry old friend, I prepared some kryptonite anti-superman spray for just such an occasion. It should give me the edge I need to make this convincing.
Well, I'm pretty sure an ape would be involved somehow
>>81228275
After the movie
>Good thing we solved that case Bruce!
>Together, as a team. And Luthor will be behind bars where he belongs [They both laugh]
>It's too bad Diana couldn't stay in town longer
>Oh I'm sure we'll see her again soon enough
>Well, so long old friend
(Shake hands)
[Supes flies away to his theme while Robin picks Bats up]
>>81228275
I would pay so much to see this

>>81228425
You did good Anon(s).
You did good.
>>81228275
>>81228425
too perfect
>>81227836
Yeah, this. You're an idiot, OP.
West is pretty squarely between Reeves and Reeve in terms of time. Reeves was in the 50's, Reeve was in '78 and the 80's, and West was in '66.
Early 80's BvS would be a pretty awesome thing to do in comic form, set it between Superman I and II, you have Superman just coming off his early fight with Luthor, a much older, more serious Adam West Batman being pitted against him, and Lynda Carter Wonder Woman also just starting in the late 70's.
Who would you cast in a 1986 Justice League movie besides those three?
>Anthony Michael Hall as Flash
>Rob Lowe as Martian Manhunter
>Charlie Sheen as Green Lantern
>Val Kilmer as Aquaman
>Michael J. Fox as the Atom
>Kurt Russel as Hawkman
>Molly Ringwald as Hawkgirl
>Winona Ryder as Black Canary
Does anyone else like how DCAU Superman and Batman butted heads and worked together in that 3-part World's Finest? Because that's how I ideally think a modern relationship between Batman and Supeerman should be.
Even this moment from Justice League really highlights their relationship;

They may represent different aspects of crime-fighting, but they both want to protect the innocent. A grudging but mutual respect between the 2.
>>81228275
>>81228425
Now that's a spicy meatball.
>>81229297I liked BvS butthis was more like what I was hoping for in the movie. They realize they're fighting for the same things but employ different methods, and both discover that they really can trust each other.

>>81228425
>>81229297
My favourite couple of episodes.
>>81227376
It's George Reeve, so you're techically wrong.
>>81229611
>Having kids pick teammates for basketball
Does this shit actually exist today? Because I graduated HS back in 2006 and we didn't do any of this.
>>81229723
Depends on the game. I never did it in basketball, but in kickball and dodgeball that's how it worked.
Reeves and West would be crime solving friends.
George Reeves' Superman and Adam West's Batman would be pretty chummy. I could see them cracking jokes and backslapping each other.
Christopher Reeve's Supes and Michael Keaton's Bats would be hostile toward each other at first. Keaton would view Superman as a flashy interloper who needs to butt-out of Gotham while Reeves would see Batman as a crazed vigilante. Halfway through the story, they'd realize that they misjudged the other and partner up. Afterwards, Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent would meet at a gala and silently acknowledge each other for who they really are.
Anyone here ever read that one Batman/Superman story where Clark and Bruce were on a cruise ship and forced to bunk together? This was before they knew each other's identities and it was hilarious seeing them bicker.
>>81228425
Everything I ever wanted.
>>81229723
That was a flashback to when he was a kid so that was probably the late 80's/early 90's.
But still a lot of gym teachers still do it. Hell, teachers do it for kids to pick their groups for projects. They'd probably get in trouble if someone complained but most kids likely don't want to admit that they suck and have no friends.
>>81228275
>>81228425
Unf.
>>81228275
>>81228425
Pretty good.
>>81229714
Actually it's George Reeves, so he was technically right.

>>81229232
>Rob Lowe as Martian Manhunter
how? why.
I get you're going with the Brat Pack but he really couldn't work.
>>81228275
>>81228425
>(Shake hands)
I need this in my life
Fuck Snyder's grim and convoluted mess, I want a World's Finest corny team-up movie
>>81234420
They didn't shake hands in BvS, did they?
>>81234587
They only had like three legitimate conversations
>>81227351
It'd probably be 2 hours of any given World's Finest plot.
So probably a lot better than BvS.
>>81234687
I remember Cavil said there'd be a handshake, but I couldn't remember if they did or not in the movie itself.
>>81234771
Nope
>meet
>threaten one another
>meet up again
>fight
>muh Martha
>split up right away
>fight Doomsday
>Superman dies
>the end
>>81228275
>>81228425
We need drawfags for this.
>>81236562
with BvS' characters(?)
>>81236773
Yes
>>81228275
>>81228425
With things like Batman '66 and Wonder Woman '77, it surprises me they haven't done this yet or even at least tried to do a Superman '78.
>>81234771
Possible it's in a deleted scene.
>>81236830
>>81227351
I prefer Reeve and Keaton

West would kill him with the Hydration weapon.
>How would a Nolanverse Batman vs Superman from Superman Returns movie turn out
It would be awkward with Superman existing in that universe.
The fight wouldn't even be a contest, Routhman would destroy him. Baleman couldn't even beat Joker in unarmed combat.
>>81228275
>>81228425
Too beautiful for this sinful, cynical world.
