Another new teaser trailer for the Lego Batman movie is up

So is Lego Batman always Batman? He never seems to take the cowl off. I just want to see him trying to blend in as Bruce Wayne and failing miserably.
>Hello, I'm Batm-I mean, Batwayne. Bruce Wayne.
>>
>>81188236
Ehhh. Started off funny, but then it wasn't. Are Lord/Miller even writing this?
>>
>>81188236
I really hate the Lego shits, but this does look funny as hell. And that Bane looks pretty sick
>>
>>81188422

>i'm not doing that

i hated the lego movie and i thought that was hilarious
>>
>>81188452
One funny response as a part of a gag that proceeds to go on for too long and end on an un-funny note. Hilarious.
>i hated the lego movie
Shit taste confirmed, then.

The whole gallery looks pretty decent. Only one I can't get a good shot of is Two-Face.
I assume we're not seeing the Joker because he's the main villain.
>>
>>81188416
He was Bruce in the Lego movie.
>>
>>81188416
Lego Batman is a Batman figure being used as a toy by a 12 year old kid.
Its why his personality is so...unique during the lego movie
>>
>>81188570
so how big are the chances this is the movie to have the most accurate Bane portrayal of all Batman movies?

I still have a hard time believing people actually liked Batman in the lego movie.

He was a joke that got really old way too fast

the lego movie was a genuinely great and original animated movie
>>
>>81188771
Yeah, it ultimately is; I'm just a little disappointed that this continues the seemingly endless trend of DC managing to do good stuff in literally every genre except live action films.

Not so much because I care more about the live action, but because it just keeps getting increasingly embarrassing to watch each passing year.

>>

idk man it sort of irked me how the movie was about being "individual" or whatever when the whole thing was a giant consumerist ad. also some jokes got old way too quickly, like batman, and the plot was extremely predictable.
>>
>>81188923
I think WB is more than content enough to just take in the stone cold cash BvS is making despite the criticism, I mean, judging by this opening weekend, unless the entire world decides to completely stop going to see it, it will turn in massive profits.

13 years ago, Firefly era hendricks, sure. She's old and overweight now, there's not way she'd look good in anything resembling a supervillain outfit, let alone Ivy's.

Interesting that my young niece had never seen any of the recent Marvel films, but because she watched the Lego movies she knows all the Marvel superheroes. I mean, she even knows Antman. The marketing strategy is brilliant, I say. Both Lego and Marvel wins.
>>

>There are, of course, pressing legal concerns there. 'The Lego Movie' was a Warner Bros production, and as Warners own DC, using those characters was no problem. Would Marvel necessarily be willing to play ball there?

>Coming Soon quizzed Lord and Miller on the matter, and - though speaking with the kind of self-deprecating wit that we might expect from the team behind 'The Lego Movie' and the '21 Jump Street' movies - they seemed keen on the idea.

>Both men at first laughed at the idea of Marvel wanting to get into business with them, Lord drily noting, "Marvel seems to be doing fine on their own," to which Miller added, "They don't need Lego to make their movies successful."
