Is it possible that the portion of the felt dead act act 3 intermission start are the felt that spades slick summoned with die's doll and put in the oven? sure it's random timelines but we know die's voodoo doll has changed it's powers with no explanation before. you would have expected crowbar of all people to stand up and do something about slick, but he jsut went along with it. he was also gone by the intermission. this leads me to believe scratch knew what would happen to the first few felt that went missing before slick got to the mansion, and he let it happen so they would be more benefitial to LE in the future. I.E. the upcoming battle.
This could also be why we don't have part two of mister 7 yet.

The events it showed were really good, but I am talking animation itself.
I am currently rereading, and the animation is pretty bad compared to earlier (and later) flash segments. The clashing artstyles are also jarring (not as bad as Gameover, but still), and the art for the Jade parts was just plain awful.
The parts drawn by Hussie (or that mimic his style well) are great, but most of it is too far from it, but still animated by him, so it looks wrong. (Again, Jade segment is worse offender)
