Silly comedy is easier to do than a big budget bloated action franchise film.

I loved The Lego Movie and I'm excited for a good Batman movie, which this will hopefully be. I'd love to see the Justice League play a decent role in it, too.

Key word being "silly". Batman doing mundane things is inherently funny in it's own right. It doesn't take too much thought to make light hearted silly comedy like that successful. So in that regard, it's very hard to mess it up. Compared to Batman v Superman where there are a fuck ton of elements weighing against it that could have fucked up the film.

Honestly I dont think theres a single version of Lego Batman thats anything other than great
