A lot is up to interpretation in the dream sequence, but what was somewhat agreed (if I can remember correctly, it's been a while) upon was that the eye balloon represents "I", the "all paths lead here" means that this is death/spirit realm type deal, and the line "someone is stealing shoes" could refer to soles, or souls. Also note the line " the veil is thin" line that's repeated here. If our guesses are right, I, or someone else we don't know, is stealing souls, and I is capable of going into the realm of the living and possibly into other universes due to the thin veil.

Lynn is just being pigheaded. He seems like one of those people that is altruistic to a fault and might neglect personal issues for it. At worst he could be a high minded hypocrit, kicking himself over decisions he made as if he was so important that his decision would have changed the world. Most people start at the beginning and end up binging it. It has some good characters and stories.

A comic set in post-apocalyptic world overrun by a mutagen that turns conscious humans into monstrous feral abominations, and unconscious/sleeping ones into anthropomorphic animals, mutants. Remaining unchanged humans (who have to wear biohazard suits all the time) have organized themselves into a borderline fascist order determined to purge the world of the mutants, which live in underground shelters. They believe it will not only make way for new, genetically pure humanity, but that by killing mutants they also destroy the mutagen (it's false, as upon the mutant's death the mutagen just goes back into the surrounding air/atmosphere). The story focuses on several mutants who come from one of the underground shelters called Endtown.
Pretty good read if you ask me.
