I like the suit, I liked his run a few years ago around Invasion, I like Don Cheadle, just Rhodes is always Tonys backup.
I'd love to see him get more lime light, maybe even a Phase IV film.
I've always had a certain fondness for Rhodey, but "fan" is a bit strong.

It's hard to be a fan of Rhodey. He gets shit on so much. He's been crippled what three times now? He's on at least his second body, parents are dead, guy's had a terrible life. Peter Parker found an alien symbiote that gave him all-new powers to augment his existing set, years of stories and a cool new look, Rhodey found an alien symbiote that gave him basically the same powers he'd had up until he lost his original armor, 25 issues of boring story and made him look like a dragon dildo.
Being Rhodey is suffering. Reading about him is hard work.

While we're talking about Rhodey, I have a confession: I started reading marvel relatively recently and first started reading Iron Man around pic related (or the storylines before it).

There's really nothing. Rhodey has almost never had a good solo run. He's one of those characters that doesn't really work unless he's on a team like the West Coast Avengers.
Reminder that MC2 Rhodey injected himself with nanites and turned into zombie Superman.
