My prediction is that Homestuck 2.0 will actually be good. Best estimate, it will be good 3/4th of the way, worst estimate, it'll be good only halfway. Not counting the slow and possibly be a bit boring start. Then when the plot gets more and more convoluted, it will reach peak interest (and thus peak cancerous fanbase) at roughly 3/5ths of the plot progress. Afterwards, Hussie's attention span will wander, lowering overall quality and letting the fandom fester.
Also since it's Homestuck 2.0 I predict there will be a clash of the 'old guard' and the new fans on the block, and this will cause a great many shitstorms. Worst estimate there will be a /hsg/ board just to contain the festering fandom, and it will be worse than the board of little horses.
