The worst part is that these errors weren't necessary for the story.
Tony could have said he found about this chick by reading a magazine or a book or something, or even just asking around, which is what people did back in the day. BENDIS WAS A YOUNG MAN BACK THEN, he should know this.
They could of just had the story happen in Cambridge instead of London, or say that Tony was spending the weekend in London.
