This is it. Batman is dead. We will never get another Batman film again. After Burton rehabilitated his image in the public eye, we're back to when people associated his name with camp. Even worse, because at least the Adam West show was tasteful camp.
This isn't only the end of Batman. It's not likely Hollywood will be interested in making any movies about superheroes at all after this. Which sucks. It would had been amazing to get a Spider-Man or X-Men film or something. It'll never happen now. Let alone b-listers like Iron Man.
