...I think all dogs go to heaven 2 is complete trash now...the animation is terrible and so is the little boy. I remember being extatic when it came out...I'm still fond of the devil...

The Pagemaster
Rock-a-Doodle
Super Mario Bros.
Moonraker

I was introduced to camp at an early age. Used to watch MST3K on Comedy Central with my mom.

Pretty much the only answer. We have nostalgia for this movie, but I'm not sure what made us like it in the first place.

>>
>>80962102
I watched it a few months ago. Still holds up, albeit not as strongly.

Jokes are solid and Newman's scenes are all gold. Michael is obviously the weakest part of the movie because he can't act, but everything else is spot on.
>>
>>80958600
Judas. I still love this stupid movie.
>>
>>80962102

I've rewatched this recently, and I really don't like it.

The scenes with Michael's family is incredibly boring, and the scenes with Bill Murray feel jarring.

And I don't think Billy West makes a very good Bugs

>not liking Jungle Book
It has some music, god tier character animation, great backgrounds. It has little overarching plot, sure, but if anything I like that more.

all the shitty kaa hypno art is both a blessing and a curse

*some great music
I Wanna Be Like You is one of the catchiest songs I know

>>80958600
I expected The Brave Little Toaster to be one of these, but it turned out to still be pretty great.

Because I guess that's what bears in the jungle eat. It wasn't until like recently I resaw the scene and understood what he was saying.

It's pretty obvious why I liked it as a kid (it's motherfucking Snoopy) and lot of the songs are good. But having rewatched it after almost a decade, it's pretty boring.
>>
>>80968119
Being an earwig doesn't make it bad. You should feel bad for being a bad person. Faggot.

I haven't watched this since I was 11 or so.

I don't think I want to ruin the magic.

Dan Green played a pretty gud Mewtwo in that one special Mewtwo Returns. I don't care at all for the female voice they chose for Mewtwo in the recent movie.
>>80968838
Japanese Mewtwo was a girl only in Movie 16. Japanese Movie 1 is a man.
>>
>>80958600
Hey, I saw it for the first time in probably at least 15 years not long ago, and I expected it to be just a quaint childish thing, I mean I remember having it on video as a kid and watching it all the time and I was prepared to be let down by vague childhood memories, but I fell in love with it all over again. This film actually surpassed my childhood memories.
>>

Apparently I really liked Pete's dragon a lot as a kid, but I have no idea why nor do I even remember what even happens in the movie.

This movie is my guilty pleasure. In my defense, the dub I grew up with was way better than the original, and fixed a lot of the fucked up overlapping sounds and such.

This, and even the sequels

Also pretty much anything from Ghibli, I can't get into it nowadays with a few exceptions
>>
>>80962102
>but I'm not sure what made us like it in the first place.
It's pretty much everything that was appealing to kids in the 90s

My Little Pony, a movie when they find some bee-kingdom of some sort

I honestly don't know why I liked it so much, belonged to my sister. All these years later, and I still remember a good chunk of that movie.
>>
>>80979715

...?

Mononoke is *better* now that I'm grown up. The monk and Lady Eboshi are much more subtle characters than my distracted teenage brain could quite grok, and I find this is consistently true of a lot of Ghibli films. Hell, I don't know that I even would have enjoyed Howl's Moving Castle when I was a kid. Howl is too flawed and alien to be truly likeable, and his weirdness kind of permeates the entire film.

Also, what, you don't like food porn? What are you some kind of vegan? Trick question, even his fucking vegetables look too delicious to be real.

I remember watching Rock-A-Doodle, faintly, way back when I was young.

It brings up these distinctly weird feelings. Like, despite its ridiculous premise, it resounded in some unearthly way in me.

Is that the one where he kills the dragon (but also all his friends) by quoting science at it and admitting magic and shit isn't real and destroys the entire fantasy land?

Rock-A-Doodle is literally a fever dream.
>>

I thought 3 > 2 > 1, but I enjoyed all of them. Haven't seen the fourth one though.

I'm surprised Roodaka didn't give me a massive robot girl fetish. Her voice was literal sex.

>but I'm not sure what made us like it in the first place.

When you're a kid, there is no accounting for taste. Just like kids think ketchup is the nectar of the gods, they often have shitty/underdeveloped taste in everything else

When I was a kid I was obsessed with Street Sharks because they looked cool, now when I watch it I realize what a steaming pile it was while other, better shows still hold up to some degree as entertaining into adulthood

I think you're mixing that up with The Flight of Dragons, which is pretty good. Can't beat based James Earl Jones as the villain.
