If you look at the list of various definitions I gave you'll see that none of them mention reflecting light.
They all deal with whether or not the object in question can be seen.
What if Emerald's power worked on absolutely all humans without a range limit? Cameras would see her but the people watching video feeds would not, so she'd still reflect light but nobody could see her.
