How does he say all of that before landing?
>>80952357
Talking is a free action.
>>80952357
Don't worry about it
>>80952467
based
>>80952480
And before that, he was hating women in Captain Carol #1. Based KSD.
>>80952467
Top-tier response.
Compression of action. He starts before jumping and likely finishes after landing, but there's not much point in showing all that when all you want to get across is "he says shit and jumps down a tree". So full page instead.
>>80952467
Nice.
>>80952480
He "clearly" swings back between panels.
>>80952710
You "clearly" see the wall of text while he's swinging
>>80952357
Because comic are generally terrible and most writers/artists for them are bad at doing their jobs
>>80952357
Ripclaw, you are my favorite dime store Wolverine.
>>80952723
Yeah, see >>80952691
The action is compressed, he doesn't say all that shit during the exact instant his weapon hits. He swings one time, swings back (not shown) and swings again.
>>80952467
I get it, because that's the name of the page on TVTropes that this comic comes from.
>>80952809
Not everyone is as avid a troper as you, anon, some people just got the D&D reference.
>>80952833
I guarantee you thy know it from Tropes, not D&D.
>>80952863
That's some retarded guarantee right here. Quit it with the autism.
>>80952880
Have you googled it?
>>80952863
Not necessarily. Yes, TVTropes is awful, but they didn't invent this stuff and in most cases they are not the original source of the names they apply to tropes. The first time I saw someone use that one in reference to comics was with an image of Wolverine and I was in high school at the time. And I don't mind telling you, that was quite some time before TVTropes existed...
>just realized how long ago high school was
Oh god.

>Making up excuses for being lazy
It doesn't work, try to picture the events in your head and how much time it would consume, for example: >>80952480 , how much that would take? I'll say 3 seconds tops, its fast pace action, now try to say that wall of text in 4 seconds, inflections and all.
Same with >>80952357 , that would have been solved by drawing another panel with him on the tree.
Also, why do comics randomly bold things?
