You know, I do actually kinda enjoy EGS. It's not GOOD, but Shive is clearly just writing this because he has fun doing it and is doing so only for himself, and it shows.
That said, he should work on the sameface problem. There seem to be about three faces in the comic. And the griffins make it more blatant, because given he's managing to make fucking bird faces perfectly expressive, it's clearly not because of a lack of artistic skill to make other face shapes aesthetically pleasing and expressive.
