I read the first arc of Simone's run and wasn't really feeling it. I thought Savant was a really dumb villain (there were 100 bad guys just like him in comics around that era) and I never got around to reading the rest of it. Does it get better?

I think the Bedard and Simone runs are worth it, but I haven't read all the arcs.
I really only read it for the cheesecake. I suppose it wasn't bad enough to not even be worth the cheesecake.
