Diaz is an artist who has a talent in digital painting but that's about it. His work still to this day looks amateur-ish for a comic format because his sense of understanding movement and time and duration within panel art is next to non existent.
He only works on what he already knows he can do. He doesn't practice things out of his comfort zone and it shows.

Aaron Diaz has an obvious inferiority complex, probably because he never got a degree in SCIENCE, so everything he does is not about the quality of the thing, but about showing everyone how great he is. For example, his paneling is deliberately confusing, not to create the best possible flow, but so he can look at everyone who complains and think "wow, what idiots, not even smart enough to comprehend my greatness". Meanwhile, in reality, everyone just sees a guy who tries to cut a steak with a spoon.
While Neil Breen writes himse- I mean his character as the greatest guy ever, at least he has motivation and passion, no matter how misplaced.

Both make comics that draw heavily on transhumanist themes. Aaron's art is much better, but Mary's comic actually deals with transhumanism instead of stylized magic. Which is weird, because Mary's comic is clearly intended to be less serious. Not that magic technology makes for a bad comic, but I don't think it's what he was going for. Some stuff Kiwi Blitz touches on:
* AI rights and the uncanny valley, including a request scheduling algorithm attack on a sapient AI
* body identity with varying levels of prosthesis
* economic privilege as a bottleneck to singularity
* post-natal genetic alteration being available to cults
* medical ethics, i.e. if you go around augmenting crazy people, you are a damned mad scientist badguy, an actual social issue in a setting with cheap, difficult to trace augmentation tech.
