I'm posting sculptures of the fairies by one Cody Pence.
And anon promised landscapes of Pixie Hollow.
Starting with Book Vidia, for that anon in the last thread >>80870688

Nah, I'm going with Rosetta for best fairy.
>>80929295
>>80929244
If only they would release the technical specs of these, then some of us could track down a 3D printer and create them from scratch.
>>80929195
It's nice to see that some characters from the comics made the list for sculptures.
>>80929317

>Tink threads rest for another week
Thing is we could let it rest and then another one could never be made. It's a shame, now that it's cancelled these threads are few and far between, and actually getting a decent amount of discussion and posting in one is a different matter altogether.
I think this should probably be the last one. Though we've had two I still don't really feel "done" if that makes sense. It feels like there's much more left to post and discuss
>>80929334
The franchise started with the books, it makes sense.
Will take WebM requests from any of the Tinkerbell Movies
There's a bunch in the last thread if you want to go and have a look >>80870688
I think this was supposed to be Kensington Gardens, since it was mentioned in the Peter Pan novels.
>>80929438
The reveal of Tink's travel outfit in Lost Treasure.
>>80929427
Yeah, but the cgi models seem like a natural starting point. They have to create the comic characters from scratch. They could almost just pose and print the movie characters.
It's a fucking travesty these figures were never produced. They're gorgeous.I feel a little bit guilty sexualizing fairies, but Fawn's fat ass for me.
>>80929512
>>80929514
True, but I'm pretty sure some of these were made from scratch regardless.
Hell, they might have started with the sculptures and then those got scanned.
>>80929535
Yeah, but they were probably too expensive given the target demographic.
For what is worth, Cody posted pixtures of the colored models for the Book Fairies, so I think those did get released.
>>80929578
I'd bet they all were from scratch. It's like 3D projects hardly ever share resources, even when they really could.
>>80929469
It does remind me a little of the area where the Peter Pan statue is in London. Not exactly, but a similar feeling.
>>80929469
Isn't that the place where Great Fairy Rescue starts?
>>80929751
>>80929711
I don't think so. The first movie ends there, and I think some other movie has the redrawn version in an opening recap. I think fairy rescue is just camping out in the countryside.
You need to build this under the big tree in your backyard.Ifyoubuildit,theywillcome.
>>80929775
For a second there I thought I was missing the higher res of these and was freaking out.
>>80929934And they're gonna play a sick baseball game?

Isn't this what Arthur Conan Doyle did? Creating fairy friendly habitats for them because he believed in them so much?
Odd that such a logical man had such illogical delusions.

*tips acorn*
I wonder if you guys have noticed, but did you realize that none of the sets of pictures is complete?
That is one of the most frustrating things about searching for References for this franchise.
Except for Secret Of The Wings, Disney never releases a complete set of renders from the cast. A fairy or two are always missing.
For Pirate Fairies they made only four posters with the girls in their Pirate dresses, even if there were seven.
For Lost Treasure, only four out of five characters got renders in their Autumn outifts.
Rinse and repeat.
>>80929988
Don't forget important infrastructure.
>>80930147
Too much of it was too lewd to release?
>>80929535
This one is for you, Moiph.
>>80930248
This one is for me
>>80930248
I'm assuming she would've been standing on something in the final version because that just seems like the sculptor was intent on showing off her butt.
>>80930298
>>80930322
>>80930373
>>80930405
This one for those that like 'em mature.
>>80930322
>2007
Oh right, so could these have been the models that they scanned to get the original 3D renders?
I like that major studios still create real-world models to get an idea of proportion, scale etc. before laser scanning them into computers.
The differences in lore between book and movie are insane.
In the books there is a fairy that clipped her wings to swim better.
In the movies, a broken wing is the end of the fucking world.
>>80930511
Are there books just about the fairies?
I-Is there deepest lore in the Tinkerbell movies?
>>80930506
Those kinds of models, probably wouldn't have had any special poses.
>>80930506
It is possible. I find some of these sculptures too detailed for them to have been intended to be mass produced.
Cody posted pictures of sculptures that did get produced, and they are considerably lower in quality.
Someone should comb the credits for Tinkerbell, maybe his name shows up.
>>80930511
I suppose that's like the difference between carefully filing your teeth to a point to rip flesh better and having them broken randomly in a fight.
>>80930555
>deepest lore
They really barely remember the events of the previous movie.
>>80930555
There is more background info for the movies, but they are considerably more shallow in lore.
In the books, its my understanding that Peter and co. show up. And other magical creatures.
>>80930095
>*tips acorn*
LOLé
>>80930621
Eh, its not that bad.
The biggest lore wrench in the movies are the winter fairies, but after that they start making callbacks more often.
Particularly Pirate Fairies.
>>80929512
>>80929438
This good?
>>80930698
Pirate fairy remembered old films. Neverbeast mentioned nothing of pirate fairy. I don't blame them, Zelina had some shark jumping sci-fi level skills.
>>80930558
Maybe, but based on cases where I know they started from sculptures, they are rarely t-posing.
The starting maquettes do have some life, though not to the extent seen in this last set.
>>80930778
Perfecto.
>>80930788
There really is nothing about Pirate Fairies that is relevant to Fawn and Gruff's story, though.
>>80930837
I feel a lion should be standing there.
>>80930874
I love garden fairies so much.
>>80930555
>Are there books just about the fairies?
http://disneyfairies.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Books
Unfortunately they're not really coherantly connected, and some of the characters from the books don't show up in the films and vice-versa.
>>80930511
>clipped her wings to swim better
Nigga, Rani cut her wings OFF completely. She can't fly any more. It was still kind of a big deal.
>>80930778
You didn't do short haired Tink's introduction from the first movie, did you?
>>80930925
They are nice, although I have been mostly avoiding shots with fairies in them.
>>80930641
Seems like Disney are allowing other companies to define some of the lore on their own, with the Fairies as incidental characters.
I know these are for kids but they do look nice.
>>80930942
I know. I guess clipping wasn't the right word.
Not a native english speaker.
Ok, time for nudes.
>>80930968
I already did this, it's what you mean, right?
>>80931054
>>80931095
Are there close ups? I really prefer her hair like that.
>>80931110
>>80931054
This type of model is why I thought they may be the pre-vis versions that get scanned, because they'd just drop whatever cloth is necessary onto the base 3D render.
At the beginning anyway, then the computer model will contain the clothes by default once they had been decided on.
>>80931174
Nude time's over.
Sorry, fans of Tink, Fawn and Vidia. That's all Cody posted.
>>80931158
>>80931054
>I guess clipping wasn't the right word.
>Not a native english speaker.
No worries m8. In English "clipping" wings describes trimming a bird's wing feathers to stop them from flying. They can grow back and the bird can fly again later, it's rather less drastic than cutting wings off completely.
Do they have an official alphabet?
>>80931428
>>80931350
Its the word I associate with cutting wings and preventing a thing from flying.
>>80931467
>>80931358
Can't recall. Wasn't Dewie's book written in english in SOTW?
>>80931528
>>80931679

Neverbeast had such a pretty color palette.
They went all out for the last movie.
>>80931654
You'd never guess this was from a movie about fairies
>>80931846
>last movie
Don't say such things Anon, Disney will soon realize their mistake.Right?
>>80931798
Rosetta is my queen.
>>80931960
>They take a page from CN and release "Pixie Hollow Go!".
>>80931960
I do wish they get back to this someday.
Man, that Fawn looks terrible. I dunno what's the origin of that design.
I've seen it in official merchandise, but it doesn't match the other characters whenever it shows up.
>>80931158
Could grab some screenshots if you want
>>80932014
Dunno, man. I think I'm desperate enough.
I wish they at least still released shorts from time to time.
>>80932104
If they had release shorts during the big break they had between films, merchandise sales probably would have stayed higher.
>>80932120
>>80932066
This isn't from one of the films is it? The colours are really nice
>>80932068
>>80932082
>>80932102
Mmm, whateve you think is sexy.
I'll be honest, its been a year since I've seen any of these, so I'm having a hard time remembering stuff I want to save.
>>80932014
Whoa, shit looks hardcore
>>80932202
Those WebM's cover most of her time before Tinking up I think, there were just some parts that were too brief or sort of useless to WebM
>"We will battle soon Kakarot".
>>80932145
Whatever happened during the production of Pixie Hollow Games really fucked up their schedule.
Though sales probavly would've dropped regardless, the franchise had some years on it already, and with Frozen and Sofia, and the redesign of the Princess line and then Palace Pets, Fairies probably had no future even in the best of cases.
>>80932014

>wet and dirty fairy pinned against the wall.png
>>80932319
At least PHG filled in a gap with PHG and a bunch of shorts, after SoTW, they kinda forgot to fill the awkward silences.
>>80932291
If it were up to me, I'd have every rosetta frame saved on the phone.
Vidia is my favorite.
Would clap for the nurse receptionist.
>>80931972
Forgot the actual queen.
This about covers the sculptures. Remain a couple of pictures. Will post later.
Sextant
>>80932402
You're not even joking are you
>>80932382
I tell you, some shit went down between the preproduction of PHG and the release of SOTW.
Remember that Games was supposed to be a full movie, released by the time of the Olympics.
Neither happened.
And then there's the whole Mysterious Winter Woods thing.
>>80932982
Didn't pirate fairy get three rewrites? It was once a movie about the queen being kidnapped, and was once a movie about a mysterious island. They even release some footage about the island version of the movie. It was basically the switch-powers scene from pirate fairy, but seemingly blamed on a thundercloud or something, with just slight differences in the scene.
>>80932995
oh, this can be shopped in numerous naughty ways...
>>80932492
Thw last few movies had nice unique background fairies.
>>80933169
Well, there's a place for that sort of thing if you feel so inclined...
>>>/aco/450939
>>80933077
This happens in the promo. In the final film, just just gets umbrellad under it so she is some talking feet from a plant.
>>80932810
Nope. Webms are more practical, but I don't wanna burden webm anon. After all, other people also post and like other fairies.
>>80932974
Delicious sportsy garden fairy and delicious fashiony garden fairy
>>80933411
I don't know why she carries the ball gag around with her while playing vollybug. Maybe they are keeping score.
>>80933411
>>80933469
They are barefoot sometimes? What is this from? Why isn't Tink barefoot?
>>80933506
That's from one of the shorts. After the success of the first movie, they started putting in more detail, like toes and stuff.
>>80933077
One, I think. The first draft involved Clarion, and probably didn't have Zarina.
Wings had one at least, before it became Frozen, fairy edition.
But nothing beats the legendary production problems of Tinkerbell.
>>80933169
Post the results in /aco/
>>80933574
That first one was probably more about Lasseter wanting to put is mark on it, since it was a project started by previous management. He's also why the whole series was dumped to work on Planes.
>"Come on Tink, pull it. Pull it. Pull my finger."
>>80933206
Ro's got some strength in those arms.
>>80933799
>>80933506
Only Fawn and Rosetta had goje barefoot.
Fawn by choice in the spring shorts, Ro forced to because of an incident in Great Fairy Rescue (also in spring)
>>80933846
>Those aren't even boobs. Pure muscle.
>>80933799
So does Vidia, by the way she catches those seeds.
Fawn had to plant herself, and Dessa got knocked out.
>>80933987
So fabulous.
>Fairies have seen you fap.
>>80933347
She's like an angel. So perfect.
>>80934511
She's perfect too.
>>80934687
What are you doing Zarina?
>>80934335
>and they enjoyed it
>>80934844
Shut up! Fawn is pure.
>>80933380
