I get the sinking feeling that the comic's going to stop updating mid-arc because the artist gets fetish commission dosh and/or loses interest in his ongoing comics. I'm not worried about Scalie Schoolie going out of its depth, myself: the strongest statement it's made so far is "Lesbian schoolgirl snakes are cute! CUTE!", and I don't see, for example, a transsexual reptile walking through the school's doors and shaking their ass for the camera.

No, at least not as I understand it. It still uses punctuation and English sentence structure more often than not, whereas "whateves talk" is more prone to sentence fragments, grunts and pithy, one-word responses like, well, "whateves".
I'm glad they finally got a consistent comic to their ideas flow but I miss the earlier one they basically just dropped for this.
It's gotten to the point where I fear >>80924419 will happen and instead of scalie school it's just post after post of slightly erotic mimic designs.

This writing... Some of the strips posted here have like a good line or a good panel, but this strip is solid the whole way through. The writing varies from good to great.
