I thought that scene was kinda weird. I mean, they used Cyborg because he was black, but didn't mention the black thing, so what was the point. If I was the one writing it, I'd have Cyborg mention "I know how it feels to be judged based on how I look" then Starfire asks "because you're half robot?" and Cyborg says "uh, sure..." so it's clear that Starfire doesn't get racism, and Cyborg doesn't want to mention it to her, but it's not like Cyborg hasn't experienced it either.
Just my opinion, it felt like a really forced scene.

Yeah Beast Boy and Raven don't look like regular humans , but Beast Boy was raised by superheroes and Raven was implied to have been raised in a weird mystical environment anyway.
