The fuck do want them to do? First of all all the crystal gems are low class fodder. Pearls arent even supposed to fight in te first place, Garnet is made up of a non fighting gem and a low ranking runt. The only actual fighting gem is an overcooked weakling.
Lapis is an OP bitch fused with a gem amazon. On top of that they're surrounded by water, giving malachite a full advantage. Its a miracle they won.
