>Bunnicula dosn't rub his chin on his stuff to brand them as his property like real rabbits do
0/10, wors cartoon ever
t. /an/imist
>>80845964
>still no Howie
Fuck this shit.
Synopsis for the episode:
>The rabbit pranks Chester and dresses up as his own son
Anything like this happen in the books? I'd be really surprised if it plays out like a loose homage to "Son of Dracula", as it leads on (which, coincidentally, also took place in New Orleans)
>>80847073
nothing like anything in the tv show happened in the book
>>80845964
L-lewd...
did someone say bunnicula thread?
>>80847811
Fucking CUTE.
Artist?
>>80848207
duno saved it off here
I watch all these threads solely for the loli
>>80846281
They rub their chins on things? I always assumed they used the sides of their heads, like cats.
>>80848623
oh is that why cats rub their faces on you?
i thought it was a sign of affection but they're just branding me?
>>80848978
Yep, they have scent glands on their face and they rub on things to mark their territory and/or property
It also feels really good for them to be rubbed on those glands, if you ever pet a cat in just the right spot between their chin and ear, they just melt into butter
>>80848978
It's both.
Also, there are scent glands also on their paws and rectum.
>>80849169
Not your best work, Carlos.
>>80845964
wow.. way to take fantastic art, animation, and style and apply it something absolutely fucking retarded.
>>80849210
Fucking nose bleed ruined it.
>>80848476
You aren't alone, nigga.
>>80845964
did someone maid a bunicula thread
I didnt realize this show had started airing
Is it any good? Loved the books growing up
>>80850203
it's nothing like the books
that said, it's (supposedly) not bad if you treat it as an entirely separate thing - because it is an entirely separate thing
>>80850203
It's pretty much an "adaptation" in name only. It barely has anything to do with the book besides Harold, Chester, and Bunnicula existing - and even then, their appearances and characterizations are totally different. Harold's been nerfed into an "oafish dog", which is generally agreed to be a massive misstep on the show's part, Chester's less paranoid but still cautious (also more of the lone "voice of reason" now), and Bunnicula is sort of a Beetlejuice version of Stitch.
It's take it or leave it as is. There's plenty of potential for it to develop in it's own right, but hasn't really utilized it fully so far. Allegedly, they're saving that sort of business for Season 2.
Anyone got more pics of Mina?
Will we ever see an adaptation of Howliday Inn?
>>80852099
I hope they end up doing something like that. As loose of an adaptation as it's been, it'd be nice to get a few callbacks to the books every once in a while.
>>80849048
I love petting my cat the right way because he'll just bend over in the most extreme ways to just keep burying his head into the scratches, pretty much falling over on his side if it weren't for my hand.
Do dogs have it too? Because I scratch my dog in the same way and she does the same thing
>>80847811
>>80848416
>>80856972
Wow /co/ only 3 pics? I am dossapoint.
>>80857016
Get on my level son.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SF7G9UjVi0
>>80849943
Saved forever. Amazing work.
How does the old Bunnicula cartoon hold up compared with this one, /co/?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-qIuMFztE0
They definitely had a better Harold, imo.
>>80845964
>Using an eggplant, of all things.
Does this show contain a lot of cleverly hidden innuendo?
>>80845964
Chester a cuck!
It took me awhile to realize that some of the gibberish Bunnicula speaks is actually Romanian.
This show is actually pretty fucking clever.
>>80861380
So Bunnicula is a gypsy?
>>80861454
It's "Transylvanian", you serf!
>>80856972
Needs them at the sleepover.
>>80861380
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZgtdwFYhUE
Really? Becaise I can't make out a thing he's saying. Transylvanian squeaky hyper spoken gibberish is hard.
From another thread.
>>80845964
1/6 of the episode.
>>80862496
This is cute but is also really clearly a foot fetish thing, and that makes me kind of sad because if I were much more naive than I am I would definitely save this
>>80859503
I mean, obviously there are more, just not being posted at the moment.
>>80862496
I need Mina sucking on Bunnicula's head.
>>80862012
Maybe his "rabbit" voice in Transylvanian makes it harder to make out exactly what he's saying, like how some people can't understand Donald Duck or whatever.
>>80861258
That was made in the 80s? Reminds me of old 60s Spiderman. Anyways, I suppose it's a faithful adaptation of the book, minus the end there. Not a very entertaining watch but there it certainly is. The book summarized down to a 20 minute show.
>>80864376
Well Ruby-Spears was a subsidiary of Hanna-Barbera.
>>80863409
Which head are you talking about here?
>>80850203
It's interesting, to say the least.
>>80859622
Good lord.
>>80861454
>>80861561
>we wuz counts and shiet
>>80845964
>those chimp screams
i chuckled
>>80845964
>Son of a Bunnicula
Alucinnub?
>>80871316
Too many animal parts.
>>80865452
No, it was just owned by the same company for some of the time, and Ruby and Spears used to work at H-B.
Maybe. Wikipedia isn't clear.
>>80871356
you sound like a vegan.
>>80871325
I vaguely remember the books mentioning a "Sonnicula" at one point (I don't remember the full extent of the context though), but having Bunnicula recycling his ex-master's own dumb alias and ruses to fuck with Chester would be fun too.
>>80871380
Both companies were owned by Taft Broadcasting Co. during that time.
Mina is cute. CUTE!
bump for mina
>>80874501
>>80874511
>>80874965
YES
>>80845964
this'll be the second episode directed by neither Atoms nor Borutski
>>80848623
Yep! It's called chinning. Bunnies will also lick things to groom them: it's a sign that they accept them as a part of their families, so to speak!
>>80849081
i-is that right?~
>>80845964
Okay, the monkey screams got me.
>>80845964
>Turnips turned the house-
What? What did he do to the house?
Also, Bunnicula and Harold literally fighting over Chester. They're not even trying to be subtle anymore.
>>80845964
So is Bunnicula's son the result of the eggplant? Something to do with eggs, you know, because it's an eggplant.
Is the eggplant going to turn into an egg or is he going to lay an egg?
He's not going to lay an egg, is he?
Bunnies don't lay eggs.
I mean, it is around Easter. It would be kind of festive.
But he's not going to lay an egg.
Right?
>>80880940
The eggplant emoji is used among the youth to represent a penis in text messages. Therefore, we can safely assume that Bunnicula is gay, and thus won't be breeding or laying eggs.
>>80881010
But Bunnicula has to breed somehow to have a son.
But then again, very little of what we know about Bunnicula is information given by Bunnicula himself. Almost everything we know about Bunnicula we learn from Chester, Harold, and Mina.
So just how certain are we that Bunnicula is a "he"? I mean, no one has looked. Have they?
>>80881010
fuck the youth
>>80883432
Thanks, bump-kun.
>>80847811
>>80862496
I need more from these artist's because reasons.
>>80845964
>new binkie
>it's a blanket
What did she mean by this?
>>80881010
>rabbit
>laying eggs
Have some more cuteness.
>>80886573
aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!
>Uncle Grandpa instead of Bunnicula
WHAT IN THE NINE BROWN HELLS, CN?
WHAT THE FUCK CN?! YOU DO NOT DEVIATE FROM THE SCHEDULE!
>>80887086
>>80887368
So, no new episode today?
>>80887437
nothing but UG and TTG
real shitkicker was that the new Bunnicula episode was on Xfinity's guide list
>>80887464
They know...
Uncle Grandpa is really good. That one with the ballroom was really well animated and funny. /co/, have you been lying to me?
>>80887464
Guess we'll just have to wait and see if it pops up on itunes.
>>80887498
They know, they know, they know, they know...
Seriously I'm getting fucking tired of this shit. First UG, then SU, and now Bunnicula. Stick to a consistent premiere schedule CN, Jesus.
She says she's going to cram it in her all night long and then holds up various objects and bends over showing her chest, I like it
>>80887680
>filename
wut
>>80887680
god i love mina
>>80887437
Word has it there was some bad blood between CN and WB, thus Bunnicula was pulled.
>>80888541
>>80886247
Some small children may mispronounce the word 'blanket' and say 'binkie' instead.
It's a child's word for blanket.
>>80888656
Not that anon, but I always thought "binkie" was a euphemism for a pacifier.
>>80888745
so did i
>>80845964
The lack of lipsync frames for "p" phonetics the girl's pronouncing is bothering me more than it should.
CN, if you don't give a shit about what you air, why should I give about watching you?
>>80887086
What happened? Why did all the new shows CN was making such a big deal about get yanked?
>>80887086
>>80845964
look up on boomerang they might have it.
Does this show even exist?
>>80892586
yes on boomerang
So no one saw/has the new episode?
>>80892586
Not anymore apparantly
>>80893173
just to shove more TTG down your crawhole. Bad enough that they turned the characters into post-revival FG expies.
>>80859622
Jesus fucking hell, that is the kinkiest cat I have ever seen.
>>80883432
With pleasure
It's still gonna air on Boomerang, right?
>This thread is going to die before the new episode airs
>>80894163
they better
>>80893329
>kinkiest cat I have ever seen
>ever seen
>seen
Anon, I'm scared to ask.
>>80896496
why don't you bump it?
>>80845964
boomerang hosting bunnicula ep
>>80898729
bump
the episode apparently did air on boomerang today
Expect an iTunes rip later today/tomorrow lads
>>80899991
does anyone have confirmation on boomerang's airing yet? haven't been home to check
>>80900659
it a rerun ep of walking fish and Whooo Is... the Knight Owl, i think there on a hiatus like with steven universe
>>80901319
well, shit
>>80902791
ya give it 2 weeks to a month, but they will releass the episodes one way or another
>>80901319
>three episodes left in the season
>one was expected to premiere today
>suddenly there's a hiatus or something out of nowhere
Cartoon Network has become so shit it isn't even funny. Why did they even bother greenlighting this show in the first place if they were just going to deliberately sabotage it at every turn, and alienate any potential viewers from even bothering to watch it on the one time slot a week it ever airs? Even Wabbit gets better coverage than Bunnicula. Fucking Wabbit.
>>80904994
same could be said for steven universe.
>>80904994
and it 4 ep to stop at 11 whould be crazy
>>80905436
That is true. But at least SU has a fair number of episodes under it's belt already, and a well established fanbase who knows to keep an eye out for more episodes... Next to nobody even knows a Bunnicula show exists, thanks to it's nonexistent advertising, unless they've read about it through a Transylvanian image board.
>>80908791
steven universe first hiatus happaned in the first 7 ep
>>80904994
And I thought it went off the deep end during the Snyder era.
>>80845964
Ehh I'm not feeling it, the style they used is pretty bad and I already hate the cat & dog.
>>80859622
why
What would you watch with Mina on movie night?
Personally, I'd watch the original Fright Night with her.
>>80912014
My money's either on Creepshow, the first or third "A Nightmare on Elm Street", or a double feature with "Horror of Dracula" & "Dracula: Prince of Darkness".
Those are the best I could think of that'd click with younger horror fans.
