Just saw this a bit ago because I bought the DVD on a whim while grocery shopping. I actually really enjoyed it, the flying ace bits overstayed their welcome a little too long but watching Charlie Brown finally fly a kite and talk to the little red haired girl was so fucking heart warming I think it was worth it.
Props to the animators too they transitioned the Peanuts kids to 3D animation beautifully.
Was this supposed to be their secret handshake or something? Is Patty's secret handshake playing Pattycake with the air?

I bought it yesterday based on a ton of recommendations from friends. It's a really fun movie full of heart. If you like the original Peanuts specials or comic strips, I recommend this movie, because it's got the same feel to it as the originals, albeit with CGI in place of traditional animation.

They didn't fuck up the characters, which is one of the main points of Peanuts. Maybe Snoopy a little bit, by making him too nice, but he still felt natural.

It's pretty, but it has way too many "Remember This?!" moments and Snoopy's side quest is too long and boring. The MT song is pretty cringe inducuing the first time but I kinda like it now. The other song's feel even more out of place on a second viewing tho.
It's pretty tho so you should watch it.
