Bueno Excelente

You mean a street level character with one of the most consistent runs ever? DC doesn't have that :^)
>>80832717
Dr. Mid-Nite.
>>80832717
Dr. Mid Nite.
He's Daredevil except a Dr instead of a Lawyer.
Also he came first.
>>80833324
Yeah, DC street level characters have several consistent runs under their belt.
>>80833377
I meant good in consistency. Not bad in consistency.
>>80833398
Then why'd you bring up Daredevil? Or claim that DC doesn't have them?
Cause you got it backwards.
>>80832717
O'Neil's Question run is probably the closest comparison, conceptually, to Miller/Nocenti; O'Neil was the editor during Miller's run.
>>80833337
>>80833358
but isn't more like moon knight? didn't they both have some sort of power by night? i'm sure about old moon knight but i've never read dr midnite so i may be wrong
>>80833457
>>Then why'd you bring up Daredevil?
>I meant good in consistency
>>80833358
That's what she said
>>80833324
Cool console war, bro
>>80833324
>most consistent
If you mean consistently shit, sure.
>>80832717

>>80833523
Midnight is just blind but able to see infrared and other types of vision with special lenses/in the dark.
>>80833324
Shadowland.
>>80833598
Show me a bad Daredevil run other than Chichester and Diggle.
Protip: You can't.
>>80833695
Later parts of Waid. Soule.
>>80833695
>Name a bad run other than the bad runs
Yeah, okay.
>>80833723
That's an edit, famalam.
>>80833725
>Later parts of Waid
No. It wasn't as good as Daredevil's old runs but it never got bad either.
>Soule
No again. It's doing great.
>>80833748
Nope, it's real.
>>80833760
The later part of Waids run definitely got bad. Going to San Francisco killed any motivation for me to read the book when he turned into a suave faggot with a suit. The first half in New York was great though, I will not deny that.
>>80833748
It is not.
>>80833760
Not even him but fuck off, Soule is fucking terrible. I can't believe people are so desperate for a good DD run they'll accept this drivel.
>>80833695
Lee's run was pretty bad. Just a diet Spider-Man.
>>80832717
More like Daredevil is the Batman of Marvel
>>80832717
Isn't it obvious? Jonah Hex.
Daredevil tv series > Any Batman adaptation including Nolans
They nailed the street level, nightly war on crime as no Batman flick has
>>80834057
>Daredevil tv series > Any Batman adaptation including Nolans
Ha Ha! What a story, Mark!
>>80832717
>>80833337
>>80833358
Or Huntress, if we are talking overall character.
>>80834057
disgusting
take your senor foggy and go
>>80834057
Yeah, no. Nolan's films probably went over you're head.
>>80834155
>too deepFOR YOU
>>80834057
This
>>80832717
Considering he literally copy and pasted from Daredevil, Batman.
>>80834155
Not that anon, but while the Nolan Batman movies were great, they were also cerebral, with almost no street-level fighting taking place. DD was a part of the city, Batman hovered above it like some vast predatory bird. Nolan's Batman was a surgeon, and the city his operating table. Daredevil was down and dirty, he got in there, in the thick of it. And in that aspect, of gritty realism, the Netflix show far outshines the Nolan adaptation.
>>80834449
The Nolan films and the DD tv show aren't really comparable. Nolan's story is based entirely around a campaign against systematic forces at work across an entire city, DD's story is based around a campaign against a single criminal organization's efforts in a neighborhood.
>>80834449
The Daredevil show exists because of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. So.
>>80835177
>So.
lol, so sassy, it's cute!
>>80835238
Well you get ticked off easy. This should be quick.
>>80835177
Batman as he exists now exists because of Frank Miller's Daredevil run. So.
>>80835349
True. Not what we're discussing though. Try and keep up.
>>80835349
This is true. So.
>>80835349
Frank Miller's DD run exists because the guy who brought Batman back from camp and more towards gothic detective fiction was Miller's editor and put him on DD. They've been intertwined since the early 80s.
>>80835383
It's exactly the discussion. So.
>>80835481
>>80835397
>>80835349
>>80835177
you're all fags with such lives so pathetic it makes your parents wish they had pulled out
>>80835665
>you're all fags with such lives so pathetic it makes your parents wish they had pulled out
So.
>>80834449
>like some vast predatory bird
Furman, get out
>>80835481
No it quite isn't, sweety.
>>80832717
Batman?
Maybe Aztek?
Some other hero that appeared in an older Batman comic that I can't immediately recall, but I know he operated in another city.
>>80833324
>this pleb hasn't read the Question
>>80836573
>>80832717
Yeah, O'Neil's Question run is probably the closest you'll get to Miller era Daredevil from DC in terms of tone and content and overall quality.
>>80836573
>This pleb doesn't know about the failed "Urban Shaman" attempted revival where he followed Ley lines to Metropolis and stopped Lex Luthor from making a magic skyscraper that would give him psychic powers
