Honestly, this Felicia doing a heel turn feels like Bendis, hear me out here. They said that Secret Wars was something that was worked on and planned for a few years now, and what that ment was that they were figuring out how to get Miles into 616 and get rid of Ultimate. Bendis, knowing that he would be writing Miles-man, needed villains that would draw in readers, but getting Cat evil is a move that even he knew was shit, so he forced someone else to take the blame. I think Felicia was turned evil so that Bendis would have villains for his Spider-Man in the future.
