I'm a lifelong Squadron Supreme mark thanks to Gruenwald and JMS' stuff. I was looking forward to this book despite the horrible treatment JMS' Squadron got in that Squadron Sinister Battleworld mini, and the premise of a Squadron taking drastic measures to fight evil excited me as a callback to Gruenwald's team policing their world absolutely. The start of this book seemed to be going that direction, and now we've just had two issues of fighting elves and goblins and shit, with the villain of the arc confirmed to be a long-term thing. Oh well
