Wasn't very entertaining. Or inspiring, funny or anything really. I expected at least a joke, moral of the story or SOMETHING but this is very flat. I thought it was weird that an 'origin' comic by his wife was non-canon but I could see why if Gob didn't want this to be canon. Granted all his quest comics are, but you'd think him and his wife would do something canon together, no?
Well, new waifus we'll never see again, I guess. Black and white striped snake lady and aunt Medusa is fucking hot. Their designs are badass and in the 'stone' page has a very nice, well drawn head for Trisssh.
I update the trissh sketch a bit.

I've been worried about that. He said he was going to do 2/week for a while, but he's kept up the pace with some really large pages. I can appreciate working with a smaller buffer so he can gauge our reactions, but he's a working man. I'd rather he just switch to 2/\week in general so we're not risking longer hiatuses when he inevitably needs a break. It's not like the pacing's going to be in any trouble.

Well I think he mentioned here or somewhere that's he going back to the 6 panel strips for a while, so that helps ease the stress.
I agree that there is a need to avoid hiatuses - not that the die hards will stop reading, or that the pacing will grind to a halt or anything - but I have seen the threads slow down dramatically after a break.
