Long story short, Mark (the Invincible guy) recently had a daughter, and they moved to an alien planet. While scouting for their version of the Saiyans, Mark got attacked by a tentacle creature who brought him back in time to before he first got his powers, but with the knowledge of everything that happens afterwards.
The tentacle creature intended to have him redo the world in a better way, but Mark refused because that would mean his daughter would not be born. Tentacle creature says "fuck you", and brings him back to his timeline, but five years afterward.

Oh. I think that's supposed to be a jab at Civil War II. The plot for that is that they find an Inhuman named Homer who can predict the future accurately, and Iron Man and Captain Marvel argue over whether they should use him.
They wrote up the event in a few months, unlike the original Civil War, which was written in a few years. So we're kinda expecting it to shit the bed harder than Axis and Avengers vs. X-Men combined.
