Feige really seems to be adamant about not letting movies run long. When you count the super-long credits and the huge cast this is not a particularly long film by modern standards.

Credits take up around 10 minutes these days especially for SFX heavy films so Civil War is more like 136. BvS is around 150 min counting credits so it's more like 140.

No, but it comes into factor when they decide if they want to go watch it again. If a movie is short, like Deadpool, they will have no problem with it. But if its a longer movie they won't go back as often, and the length of a film also limits how many times it can be played in the time its out in theaters. Might not be much, but it is a factor.
