Y'know, the saddest part for me is that the idea of an Asgardian civil war over some controversial decision by Odin COULD be a real interesting story. Splits gods between sides, splits even the Warrior Three, and in the middle of it Thor, not knowing if he should stand by his family or his friends, or something along these lines. The problem is that this story is happening because Odin became an insane muh soggy knee straw puppet and Thor is nowhere to be seen, all we have is Jane Foster, who has NO STAKE in the future of Asgard.
