Chris O'Donnell was a joke and Joseph Gordon Levit was fine but the character he was playing wasn't Robin (or even Dick Grayson).

Fun Fact: During the Batman/Green Hornet crossover, Kato (Bruce Lee) was going to fight Robin. When Lee arrived, he didn't say or acknowledge Ward at all, only shooting him angry looks again and again. When it came time to film the Kato vs. Robin scenes, Lee was preparing to fight for real and kick Ward's ass no matter what the script said.
It was only after Ward was scared shitless that Lee finally smiled and laughed. The whole thing had been a joke to fuck with Burt. I can't blame him, if I thought Bruce Lee wanted to kick my ass I'd just start running. Any direction besides towards Bruce Lee, it wouldn't matter.
I can't believe it's Burt Ward, but it is.
