I still gotta read Warren't Dirty Pair, for his incorporating of that hoax grunge speak if nothing else
Goddamn, I have the perfect answer for this but I can't remember what it was. It was one of the upstart comic companies, but pretty sure not Malibu's Ultraverse. Kid turns out to be some kind of kickass cyborg and all sorts of people are chasing him, and they replace him with a duplicate, but then it turns out maybe he is the duplicate after all and the other version of him is the original. Was a pretty great cyberpunk world, and the cybernetics had a nice sort of American Guyver effect going, at least until they went silly with the ability to manifest ridiculously big guns. Fuck, this is going to bother me all night.

90% sure it was the same company as the Armor character, guy gets abducted by aliens, turned into a gladiator in an intergalactic arena and then escapes with cool power armor. Argh.

Closest to Cyberpunk are probably Tron Uprising, Aeon Flux and Animatrix if that even counts as /co/. Give them a shot if you never saw them. Outright Cyberpunk is rare. Only Batman Beyond fits the bill outright.

That's cartoons anyway.

check out the X-Men story Days of Future past
it's sci-fi, and because of the time that it was made, a lot of the art for the future era of the story uses that 80's cyberpunk aesthetic

>and Animatrix if that even counts as /co/
It doesn't/shouldn't.
