It's going to be horrible.

As far as the art goes, I'm trying not to get so worried about it. Studios might not want to spend their best artists on it if its success isn't a sure thing, and if it turns out well they'll treat it better.

It feels like you're intent on hating this, no two ways about it.
And... the worst part is... they won't be cute anymore!
I expect I'll keep meaning to check this show out just out of curiosity's sake but will get distracted by literally anything else on TV if not just sleeping and eventually I'll forget it exists until a thread in the catalog catches my eye and reminds me, at which point I'll decide to check it out purely out of curiosity's sake only to get distracted, etcetera, etcetera, ad infinitum.
Ignoring things that will probably suck is ridiculously easy and I have no idea why more people can't do it.
I expect underwhelming voice acting. Not because the voice actors don't sound right, but that they will do a poor job of putting character into the voices.
Screaming will sound held back, more like frustrated shouting.
Expressing joy will sound only just a little more happy instead of cute childlike happiness.
