Anyway, I imagine the first half would be Battleships attempting to stem the tide until one of them falls, then it just spirals up the chain of power until you get one of the Named guys/gals.
Or the battleships contain the outbreak but some shithead keeps specimens for study, in order to exert the will of others on battleships, make 'em into drones essentially.
Then a test subject breaks out and shit gets apocalyptic right quick.

A few of the less feral Crossed coat weapons (including bullets) in their fluids, or fill bags with things like piss and shit. I vaguely recall one story where they used an infected baby like some kind of warped grenade (throw it, it gets shot in mid-air, gore rains down).
