I honestly think it deserves more hate than it gets. I also think people only like it because its in a pretty package, had decent animation, and was actually a serious take on the DC universe and focusing on expanded characters that normally aren't in the limelight, so /co/ feels like it has to like it. Problem was the writing and forced romance were so fucking bad and horrible, you can't really get past it. They literally ended season 1 by having the black girl kiss the black kid because he was the only one not paired with anyone and "lol blacks go together". I thought this show did a great job of incorporating different DC heroes and villains. Plot twists were pretty nice as well. I don't think it's fair to be so harsh on a show that wasn't even developed to be much more than a toy advertiser. I thought this was one of DC's better shows.
