Civil War comes out next month in some countries, yet we've only had a trailer that debuted 3 months ago and a measly 30 second superbowl ad

8 more weeks until release, and we've basically seen nothing.
In the one month leading up to the release, expect to see a ton of new TV spots and that kind of thing
I remember that's how it went with Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Fantastic Four, Deadpool, etc. I expect around April they'll start shitting promotions out of the sky
Marvel is very late with pormotion for their movies in the last years in general, it happened with Guardians and Ant-Man too.
Basically you'll get bombarded with tons of TV spots and marketing only in the last month.

Second trailer of GotG only came out in late May, so two months before release. There are still 9 weeks till Civil War, so I'm expecting the new trailer to drop this week or next one.
I expect a trailer for Civil War to be attached to BvS and released online the week of.

The studio can usually decide to attach two trailers, in BvS case it will be prolly Suicide Squad or WW and Fantastic Beasts.
The other trailers are decided by the theater, the studio has no control about it.
Playing tons of trailers for a movie that isn't out yet is kind of dumb. You're telling people about a product that's not even available yet. You want to do the majority of the advertising once it's actually in theaters.

In movies, they're not rivals. The success of their movies doesn't effect the sales of the others' movies. BvS and Civil War are a slightly different story because they're releasing while the other is still in theaters, but generally they have no reason to want the others' movies to fail.
It's why the console warz thing is so fucking stupid, even the companies don't care which one you prefer, as long as you see their movie they couldn't give a fuck if you see the other one.
Getting kind of bored of these superhero movies. Not a big comic book fan either so I don't know how on earth does Captain America have a chance against Iron Man? From what I've seen so far from the movies C. America is just stronger than the average human but Stark has suits as strong as a Norse God ad Hulk.

They can send out (traditionally speaking, these would be attached to the same roll of film, but today they're just files sent out by the same digital distribution) whatever trailers they want in the hope that theaters will show them, but whether they get shown or not is the theater's/chain's decision. If they can get more money from another company, they will - that's just business.
Part of the reason the last X-Men movie was trailed after the last Amazing Spider-Man was that FOX were determined to get their trailer shown with what was, even in decline, a much bigger rival franchise, and that appears to have paid off.

I think that Helen Cho is about as close to Amadeus as you're going to get. The fact that she is used to Banner's Lab probably means that she's genderbent Amadeus Cho, like Jeri Hogarth and the Ancient One. Or the fact that Hope is the de facto Wasp, as far as the movies are concerned.

I'm actually quite happy with this. A lot of it will be a surprise, and from the looks of it, Spidey won't be revealed until after the film comes out.
This is one of those movies that I don't want to be totally spoiled on. Whoever managed to keep Star Wars under wraps must have been brought over to help Marvel with this, cause we didn't know about Luke until a few weeks before the release, and I got a feeling Spidey won't leak until then either, if at all.

Civil War on the other hand had an amazing first trailer and showed slightly altered versions of it every time. It's boring at this point.

Actually there's a rumour Hulk could be in the movie. Some guy that wrote an article about the movie (can't remember who) namedropped Ruffalo when praising the performances, and those Coca-cola cans they made for the movie also have Hulk among the other characters (although to be fair others like Scarlet Witch are missing so they could just be random). Some theorized it could be about an after-credits scene to enstablish Hulk going into space so his presence in Ragnarok could make more sense
