I found some expressions practice I did a few months back. The girl's the main character for a cartoon idea I have. What do you think of it, /co/?

Tell us more about your cartoon.

Also this >>80262253

>takes place in modern times
>earth is pretty much the same
>except there are monsters
>they live separated from humanity, with humans knowing fuck-all about them except for a lot of people that are in positions of power
>girl comes across one of the sorta reservations for monsters to live in by complete accident
>oh shit they live in mansions
>UNDERGROUND MANSIONS
>girl convinces monsters to teach her about them
>as she learns more and more she begins to think about what would happen if monsters and humans coexisted
>show is basically about her going out on small adventures with her monster buddies to gain a better understanding of them and hopefully serve as an ambassador from monsters to humans
That's the gist of it.

Ok, but what does her vagina look like?

What kind of monsters are we talking here?

Universal Monster Mash characters, mythological creatures, Lovecraftian horrors, or something of your own making?

>ghost girl and her bedsheet ghost friend
>pirate spider girl
>freaky cat who runs the mansion the show takes place in
>the actual fucking leviathan
>probably also behemoth and ziz
>also a few of the girl's human friends but they're mostly supporting characters
Pic related, it's another picture from a few months back of Leviathan.

Basically a mashing of all those ideas. Though monsters that are inspired by something aren't going to look a lot like what they are originally, as I like to put a personal spin on the designs.
>>
>>80263053
Start doing some short comics, where the characters interact.
>>
>>80263203
Do this. And make one where they get naked and touch each others private parts.
>>
>>80262868
Almost forgot
>a gang of batshit insane sirens who love treasure and capsize a bunch of ships
>yandere moth girl who's obsessed with the main character
>>
>>80262114
I think you should take this to the Batman draw threads or How's Your Webcomic threads. This is the second time this week someone made a thread just for themselves to get attention.
>>
>>80263452
Sorry, I did a ctrl+f search and I didn't find the "practice your art" thread, so I just assumed there wasn't one.

Hi Undertale
>>
>>80263972
Similar, but there wasn't any conflict that forced the monsters into living in small spaces. Humanity simply populated the world faster than they did.
>>
I've been reading and it sounds pretty okay. It sounds episodic which isn't really my style, and your art looks like the generic shape-y stuff which is an bit uninviting for me but quite popular so you'll be fine. I don't know what network would find this, the setting is rather out of the ordinary but seems to still follow common formula most popular cartoons follow. You definetly have a shot.

>your art looks like the generic shape-y stuff

What did he mean by this?
>>
>>80264240
I'm guess he means that it looks like most of the popular shows now, like Steven Unverse or Gravity Falls. I will admit that my artstyle does look pretty similar to them.

I did this kinda quickly so it's not as good as it could be. The proportions are pretty off. I'm not really the best person to ask about anatomy, I'm still very much learning how to work with it.

What >>80264329 said, even if I like a said show, I won't be able to get over that primtive-shapes art style
>>80264693
Any time, I think you have a sporting chance. I'm trying to get into the industry too and have a similarly distinct ideas that are a bit off the beaten path of most cartoons. If you plan on doing more obscure things I recommend going to CN or Netflix. Good luck!
>>
>>80264693
Also, get good with anatomy. I recommend learning real human anatomy before doing anything else, it will be hard but just trust me, it will make apsolutely everything better and impress your colleges / people who will want to hire you.

I'm currently making an effort to learn it. I ask different artists for tips when I can, and I can see the improvement.
Thanks for your input, man. It really helps to know that someone thinks I got a chance in the cartoon industry. Good luck in your own endeavors!
